• Deerwood was started in 1945, and sits on the site of a camp from the 1880s.
• Sessions are 3.5 or 7 weeks in length.
• Deerwood has been continuously owned and operated by three generations of the Thomsen family.
• Camper to Counselor ratio is lower than 3:1.
• Each year we enroll 135 campers — boys aged 8 to 15.
• Located on Squam Lake in Holderness, NH (2 hours from Boston and Portland).
• In 2018, campers from 21 different states and 8 foreign countries attended Deerwood. 
• Financial assistance is available through The Deerwood Foundation.
• Camp is electronics-free.
• Overnight camping trips are available to all age groups.
