Many counselors learned the ways of Deerwood trips and to love the outdoors through their time with Len, both inside the Trip Shack and out on adventures. Well info his 70s, Len co-led the Rangeley lake trip and he was so proud that Deerwood boys had paddled there every single summer since 1945!.
